Reviewing financial risk.
Windlestone Parish Council is committed to being open and transparent.
Each year the Council carries out a Financial Risk Assessment (see below) and receives an Internal Audit of its Accounts (see Annual Accounts below), which comprises a Bank Reconciliation Statement, Internal Auditors Report, Sections 1 & 2 of the Annual Governance and Audit Statement, and an analysis of any significant variances from the previous years accounts. To ensure Transparency the Parish Council also publishes details of all transactions made over £100 (see below)
Any residents wanting to view the Council's Accounts are welcome to do so during the Notice Period for the Exercise of Public Rights (in accordance with Regulation 15 (2) of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015), which for the year ending 31st March 2026 is: 8th June 2026 - 17th July 2026.
