Residents of Windlestone Park Welcome new Post Box  to the Parish

Following the decommissioning of the original Post Box located at  the main gates to Windlestone Hall, Windlestone Parish Council and local residents campaigned tirelessly for a replacement facility. A new Post Box was finally installed by Royal Mail near to the Windlestone Park (A689) turnoff at the end of January 2026.


For months the Post Box stood shrouded in plastic, but despite the lengthy 5 month wait, the new facility was finally commissioned this week. The Parish Council and residents are delighted to see the new Post Box, which bears the King Charles III cypher, finally being brought into use.
